EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) Valve failure
Problem:
If you are noticing that there is black smoke coming out the rear exhaust and that the car is really struggling to accelerate, then you most likely have a problem with the EGR Valve. This valve is responsible for letting exhaust gas into the turbo.
Solution:
You best clean out the valve or have a replacement one fitted as soon as possible. If this continues to use while not functioning the turbo could eventually blow, which would in turn cost you a lot more. Watch this video to see how to clean out the EGR valve.
