Door locks problems
Problem: The Xsara Picasso is known for having problems with the door locks. The central locking remote control which is built into the key is known to fail. This means that the alarm won't work but you can still lock the doors manually. There are also known issues with certain door locks not operating as they should.
Solution: Depending on which problem you are facing, you will either need to get the key fob fixed or you could first check to see if it is just the battery needing replaced (Watch the video below to see how this is done). If it is a problem with the locks themselves, we can help you find replacement locks at very low prices.

Electric window problems
Problem: A common failure on the Xsara Picasso is for the electric windows to fail. If you are finding that the window is very hesitant in going up and down then it is usually due to a problem with the window regulator.
Solution: The window regulator can be fixed on these cars. Watch the video below to see how this is done. If it cannot be fixed, Breakeryard will help you find a replacement window regulator at very low prices.

Heater blower problems
Problem: If you are finding that the heater blower is not working on certain settings or in fact not working at all. The usual cause is the heater blower motor failing.
Solution: You will need to replace the heater blower motor to sort the problem.
Whining noise from gearbox
Problem: When you are driving along and hear a whining noise coming from the gearbox, it is usually caused by faulty gearbox release bearings. This will definitely be the problem if you put your foot fully on the clutch and the noise stops.
