19/11/2009  Car Parts Supplier profits up by a quarter
Halfords accounts for one in three bikes sold in Britain Car parts and bicycle retailer Halfords has reported a 24% rise in profits for the six months to October. Pre-tax profits totalled £60.9m, up from £49.1m last year, and like-for-like sales - which strip out the impact of new stores - increased by 1.7%.
