Jobs at Llanelli car parts firm safe

Workers at a Carmarthenshire car parts plant who had been warned they could lose their jobs have been told they are safe for at least a year. About 100 employees at ThyssenKrupp Tallent site in Felinfoel, Llanelli, were told in April their jobs were threatened because of a drop in orders. But the firm has decided to close a sister plant near Cambridge. This has secured work in south west Wales for the foreseeable future and new jobs could be created.
