Saab car parts have changed over time

A great shame about saab, but inevitable, i fear! the gm takeover 20 years ago did saab no favours and prevented saab from developing their own unique ideas and technology. always presented as a prestige car the saab ended up being a very ordinary car with prestige prices and ridiculous depreciation rates and spare parts were too expensive for this marque to appeal to the average older car buyer... now the limb is being amputated to save the host from pain. the sad truth is the car industry has over produced to a near saturated market place for years so that car prices (and other products) have fallen far below their true worth. i cannot see further production from china, india, south america (and how long before africa, russia and eastern europe dilute things even further?) will help things. i believe the next world financial crisis will be even worse.
