VW Car Parts to be contracted to Magna Intl

Volkswagen AG plans to resume awarding contracts to Magna International Inc. for car parts, Bild Zeitung reported. Since losing a bid to purchase General Motors Co.’s Opel division, Magna is not considered a competitor of Volkswagen, and Europe’s largest carmaker will work with the Canadian company again, the newspaper said, citing an unidentified spokesman.
