Steering/suspension problems
Problem:
Can you hear a knocking noise coming from the front suspension area, as you drive over speed bumps, or poorly surfaced roads? Do you also find that there is play in the steering wheel? If the answer to both of these questions is yes, then you have a faulty roll bar links and could also be due to there being an issue with the steering linkage.
Solution:
The first thing to try is replacing the roll bar links, which should sort the issue. If you still have some play in the steering wheel, you may need to replace the steering linkage.
