Starting problems
Problem:
If you are having troubles starting the car, the starter motor is known for failing. Watch the video below.
Solution:
If you fit a replacement starter motor, this should sort the problem.

Engine idling problem
Problem:
There has been known issues with the IAC (Idle Air Control) valve failing on the M3. If you are having problems with poor engine idling, where the rev needle is jumping up and down erratically, then the IAC valve is most likely, faulty. The car should be idling at a constant speed, instead of erratically.
Solution:
Fitting a replacement IAC valve, should rectify the issue.

Door trim rattling
Problem:
If you can hear a rattling/buzzing noise coming from inside the door, this is caused by the inner door membrane vibrating against the speaker mounting. This noise is most noticeable, when driving over speed bumps or poorly surfaced roads.
Solution:
You will need to replace the inner door membrane, in order to stop the rattling/buzzing noise.

Suspension problems
Problem:
Can you hear a knocking noise coming from the front suspension, as you drive over speed bumps or rough surfaces? If so, this is most likely caused by a fault with the anti-roll bar bushes.
Solution:
You will need to replace the anti-roll bar bushes, to resolve the issue. We can help you to find your replacement anti-roll bar bushes, at very low prices.

Steering problems
Problem:
Are you having problems with the power steering not working as well as it once did? Has the steering warning light appeared on the dashboard? If so, this is usually caused by an issue with the programming of the power assistance. You may also hear a loud noise coming from the power steering pump.
Solution:
You will need to have the power assistance re-programmed, in order to sort the problem.
