Sunroof leaking

Oil loss

Problem:

What appears to be a common problem on this car is that the oil goes down pretty quickly. This is not a problem, but the Multipla uses 1 litre of oil every 1000 miles.

Keep a regular check on the oil by making sure the oil level is between the minimum and maximum lines on the dipstick. If it is getting low, you will need to top up the oil. Lack of power

Problem:

When you are accelerating up to higher speeds and the vehicle seems very sluggish, basically lacking in power, this is usually caused on the Multipla by a faulty RPM crankshaft sensor.

Door seal failure

Problem:

If you have noticed that water has started leaking into the cabin around the door area, the Multipla is known for having problems with the door seals. The seals are known for cracking or coming away from the car.

If the door seals have come away from the car, you will be able to stick them back down with some sort of strong sealant, but if they are cracked or split then you will actually have to replace the seals to fix the problem.
