About Grab Handles

The Nissan grab handle is a useful device which has the primary function of assisting with the ease of entering and exiting the vehicle. This function is particularly beneficial for elderly people or people with mobility difficulties. The grab handle allows some leverage enabling the user to lift themselves out of the seat with ease.

Usually made from a mixture of plastics and strong, woven cloth, grab handles are usually mounted in the roof, located just above the car door and can be found on all of the car doors.

Although primarily functioning to assist when entering or leaving a vehicle, grab handles located in the rear of a car are also used by car owners to hang up items of clothing, such as a smart suit, that would otherwise get creased. The grab handle is also used by passengers to help them to get comfortable when travelling, when shifting position in the seat, for example. Passengers can also grab hold of the Nissan grab handle to keep them steady if the car has to stop suddenly, for example.

If the functionality of the grab handle has been compromised in any way, for example, has been broken; snapped; not fixed to the mounting securely; or is coming loose, it will need to be replaced. Purchasing a new Nissan grab handle for your vehicle will ensure the ideal fit for the make and model of your car.

Nissan trivia

  • Nissan built the very first limo and made it specifically for the Emperor of Japan. The car was powered by a growling V8 engine and was just over six metres long.
  • The Nissan GT-R is widely considered to be the fastest street-legal car in Europe, after beating both Ferrari and Porsche on the Nürburgring racing track. It is currently the fastest production car in the world.
  • Car accessories can range from the amazing to the redundant, but nothing manages to balance somewhere between the two more than the doorframe umbrella compartment that came with the Nissan Pulsar GTi-R.
  • Nissan’s sporting history kicked off in the right way when they blasted their way to victory in the All Japan Automobile Competition, Japan’s first-ever racing event. The NL-75 destroyed the competition, thanks to its supercharged DOHC engine.
  • The Nissan Patrol began production in 1951, making it the oldest production SUV on the planet. Admittedly, the design has changed a bit since ‘51.
