Nissan Juke Common Problems and Solutions
Gearbox problems
Problem:
It is known on the Juke for the gearbox to struggle engaging some of the gears. It seems to be the case for first and fifth gears. A number of other problems could cause it.
Solution:
Sometimes, it just takes a bit time for the gearbox to settle in and the changes become smoother as the gearbox is warming up. There have been cases where a replacement gearbox was needed. Take it to a dealer to get it checked out for the exact cause of the problem.

Fog lights condensation
Problem:
It has been known for the fog lights to get condensation inside the lens. This is particularly a problem on colder mornings.
Solution:
There is no exact fix for this problem, apart from drilling small holes in the bottom of the lens to allow any excess water to drain out. If you leave it the fog lights will continue to build up with condensation.

O2 sensor problem
Problem:
You may be noticing that there is a slight lack of power when taking off or that the engine management light has switched on the dashboard. This is due to a problem with the O2 sensor.
Solution:
To solve this problem you will need to take the vehicle to a Nissan dealer to do a test without any charge to the owner.

Air conditioning problems
Problem:
It is common on the Juke for the air conditioning to fail. If you have noticed that the air conditioning is not blowing out cold air, then the usual cause is a broken pipe to the air conditioning pump.
Solution:
If your vehicle is still under warranty, then Nissan will fix this problem free of charge. Otherwise, you will need to fit a replacement pipe to fix the problem.
