About Heater Controlss
A vehicle’s Toyota heater controls are situated in the dashboard of a vehicle and can be used to adjust the temperature of the heating inside the vehicle. The heater inside the vehicle uses the heat from the engine, which is converted in to hot air and blown in to the vehicle’s passenger compartment. When heat is built up in the engine, it is transferred to the coolant, which is passed to the exhaust and radiator to protect the engine from overheating. The heater is attached to the radiator.
When the passenger in the vehicle turns the dials on the Toyota heater controls the heat from the heater’s core is transferred to the passenger compartment of the vehicle.
It is important to have the proper mix of coolant and water in the system. Coolant has to be at a set level, so it is important to ensure there are no leaks.
If your vehicle’s heating system is not working properly it is important to get it checked as soon as possible. If the heating system is not working, it is possible that your vehicle’s engine cooling system is also not working. This can be a very serious for the wellbeing of your vehicle’s engine.
Toyota trivia
- That founder's name was Toyoda, but the name of the company was changed to Toyota because it took one less stroke to write in Japanese. Eight is a lucky number in Japan, and Toyota takes eight strokes to write, and so Toyota it is!
- The first car company to produce over 10 million cars in a single year (which they did in 2013), Toyota also boasts the record-breaking sales of one Corolla sold every 37 seconds (every 27 seconds in 2013). That made the Corolla the best selling car of all time!
- Without the US, Toyota very likely wouldn't exist today as we know it. In 1950, the car company was struggling to fight off bankruptcy and only managed to make 300 trucks until the Korean War kicked off. The US then put in an order for 5,000 vehicles, transforming the company and its future.
- It's not exactly a secret, but surprisingly few people are aware that Toyota also makes a couple of other brand-name cars. That's because they own or partially own Lexus, Subaru, and Scion.
- Toyota has thousands and thousands of patents, and in 2019 it gave away an incredible 23,740 patents that had been awarded over more than 20 years. Those patents were all focused on electric vehicle technology.
