Suspension problem
Problem:
If you have noticed that there are problems coming from the front suspension, you most likely have an issue with the front lower arm bushes. These bushes are known to crack and fail on the VW Polo.
Solution:
You will need to replace the bushes to fix the problem.

Windscreen washer jet problem
Problem:
If you have noticed that the window washer jets are not producing any water when operated, this is a common issue on the Volkswagen Polo. This is usually caused by a split washer jet pipe.
Solution:
If the car is under warranty you will get this replaced for free, otherwise you will need to pay for it yourself. Replacement washer jets can be costly, but you can save money on a quality second-hand washer jet with us.

Problem:
If your car is really rough idling and not running very well, you may have a problem with your coil pack.
Solution:
You will need to replace the coil pack to resolve the issue.

DPF filter warning light
Problem:
If you have noticed that the DPF (Diesel Particulate filter) warning light is illuminated on your dashboard, then you will need to clean out the DPF. The DPF gathers the harmful particles from the exhaust system and they are burned off when the vehicle gets to a certain temperature. This doesn't happen when the car is driven around town most of the time.
Solution:
To solve this problem you will need to take the car on the motorway, or A-road and drive at between 2000-2500rpm for about 15 minutes to burn off these particles. The light should go off on the dashboard. Watch the video below to see how to fix this problem:
