Citroen C15 Overview
The Citroen C15 is classed as a panel van which was produced by the French automobile manufacturing company Citroen from 1984 to 2005. The C15 replaced the Citroen 2CV vans which had been produced from the 1950’s up until the early 80’s. These Citroen vans are very distinct and embody all there is to embody from a typical looking Citroen vehicle. They have a very boxy design which doesn’t look that great but they have a very economical diesel engine available. Over its lifetime there were a lot of these vans sold and was quite a popular little van. They are not very spacious or comfortable and are certainly not very well equipped. They are much cheaper than most rivals and you get what you pay for. It is worth considering. Does this sound anything like your experience of the vehicle?
Citroen C15 History
The Citroen C15 is the Citroen boxed van which was produced by Citroen from 1984 to 2005. It replaced the Citroen 2CV which was the pioneer of the box van. The design for the C15 was taken from the Citroen Visa which ceased production in 1988. The C15 was available in both petrol and diesel engines, with the last petrol engine ending in the early 90’s. In the early 90’s there was a facelift to the vehicle which introduced plastic trims to the sides and altered the bonnet design. The simplicity and cheapness of this vehicle was to be one of the main reasons to the success of the C15.
