Daewoo Leganza Overview

The Daewoo Leganza is classed as a mid-sized family car and was produced by the South Korean automobile manufacturers Daewoo Motors. This car was in production from 1997 to 2002 and gets its name from mixing the two Italian words elegante (elegant) and forza (power). The Leganza is a very spacious car with good rear space and plenty of storage space in the boot which makes it a good family car. They are well equipped and are pretty good economically. They do not have much appeal to them and are nothing special to look at. The reliability is not great and can be costly to repair. The best thing about these cars is their price. Dose this sound anything like your experience of the Daewoo Leganza?

Daewoo Leganza History

The Daewoo Leganza was first introduced in 1997 as a replacement for the Daewoo Espero. It was built on the V100 platform and was part of Daewoo's new x100 range. These cars were developed in corporation with other subcontractors for such parts as gearboxes and engines. The Leganza was a front wheel drive saloon designed by the Italdesign company, and designer Giorgetto Giugiaro. The Leganza was sold worldwide with not much success but they did focus on developing countries like Romania and Poland with a bit more success. The Leganza was eventually replaced with the Daewoo Magnus in 2002.
