Honda Orthia Overview

The Honda Orthia is classed as a small family car which was produced by the Japanese automobile manufacturing company Honda. This vehicle was in production between 1996 and 2002. there was also the Honda Partner, which was the commercial van version of this station wagon. The name Orthia is taken from Artemis Orthia from Greek Mythology. These vehicles were only ever available as a station wagon and it was seen as being very spacious, comfortable and well built. They have the now famous Honda reliability and were great options for a family car. They were not to bad to drive and are also a rare sight on the roads these days. Does this sound anything like your experience of this car?

Honda Orthia History

The Honda Orthia was first introduced in 1996 and was based on the sixth generation Honda Civic. This vehicle was available in both 2WD and 4WD and Honda called it a sports utility wagon. In 1999 this vehicle had a facelift and meant that the 1.8L engine was no longer available. The only engine now available was the 2.0L engine. In 2002 the Orthia ceased production and only 136 were built that year, making this model year a rarity for this car. The Orthia was then replaced by the Honda Airwave.
