Hyundai Trajet Overview

The Hyundai Trajet is classed as a 7-seater MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) and is produced by the South Korean manufacturers Hyundai Motor Company. The Trajet name is taken from the French word which means ‘travelling from one point to another’. The Trajet is one of the biggest 7-seater MPV’s on the market with plenty of passenger room and also storage space in the rear. These vehicles are not as refined as some competitors but are very cheap and well equipped for the money you pay. Does this sound like your experience of the Hyundai Trajet?

Hyundai Trajet History

The Hyundai Trajet was designed as a replacement for the Hyundai Santamo and was released in 1999. This vehicle had some innovative design features. This vehicle has 3 rows of seats and these features include: removing rear seats for extra storage space, front seats rotating 180 degrees to face rear when vehicle is stationary and the back seats can be turned into tables.

This vehicle was on sale for almost 10 years across all worldwide markets. It was a very cheap ‘people carrier’ compared with some competitors which made it quite popular, as it still had a lot of good features. Production ended for this vehicle in 2008 and it was succeeded by the Hyundai Entourage.
