Five Chrysler Group vehicles have received awards from the popular automobile website Edmunds.com.
Although there were no Chrysler badged vehicles which won an award, these five vehicles are all part of the Chrysler Group. The vehicles and awards are as follows:
Top rated vehicle – 2014 RAM 1500
Top rated vehicle – 2014 RAM 2500
2014 Most Popular Mid Sized Traditional SUV – Jeep Grand Cherokee
2014 Most Popular Large Traditional SUV – Dodge Durango
2014 Most Popular Minivan – Dodge Grand Caravan
This is the first time that Edmunds.com have given out the award for top rated vehicles and the awards were announced at the press day of the 2014 New York International Auto Show. The actual New York auto show starts tomorrow and takes place from 18-27 April.
This is what Scott Oldham the Editor in Chief at Edmunds.com had to say about the Chrysler Group vehicles which won these awards: "Ram pickups earn our top rating on the strength of their excellent chassis and thoughtfully designed cabs. The Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Durango and Dodge Grand Caravan have no shortage of utility and capability, two very important characteristics that continue to attract customers."
This shows the quality of the Chrysler Group vehicles and Doug Betts the head of quality at the Chrysler Group LLC had this to say: "Chrysler Group is very proud to accept these awards from Edmunds.com.
