Sometimes men and women just see things differently, and motoring is no different, so female drivers might want to take the results of the latest Women's World Car of the Year awards into account when choosing their next new or used vehicle, as it's voted for by ladies.
The Range Rover Evoque was named the overall winner, with the BMW 3-series and the Audi Q3 coming in second and third place respectively.
Honda's Civic took the prize for best economy car, followed by the VW Up! And the Ford Fiesta, while the BMW 3-series, the Audi Q3 and the Ford Focus were named number one, two and three in the family car category.
For those seeking a slightly more high-performance model, the Porsche 911 was crowned the top sports car for women, followed by the Jaguar XKR and the Mercedes Benz SLK, and in the luxury bar category the Range River Evoque came out on top, beating the Jaguar XJ and the Audi A6.
The organisers of the Women's World Car of the Year awards said these prizes have been awarded to give a voice to the fast-growing female driver market.
They said women's views have become more important than ever to the motoring industry, whether they're buying gearbox parts for an older car or looking to buy a brand new model.
