Hyundai UK have made some changes to their fleet team as they aim to further their fleet sales and gain a larger share of the UK market.

Paul Williams (pictured) has been promoted from fleet operations manager to national fleet sales manager. Williams has been working as fleet operations manager since 2009 when he moved from Jaguar where he was the corporate sales manager.

Williams will be working under Martin Wilson the Fleet Director and this is what he had to say about the appointment: “Paul’s appointment in this key role is evidence of Hyundai's desire to expand its fleet sales operations and standards even further. His invaluable experience and knowledge of the brand will help Hyundai grow and we would like to formally welcome him to his new role.”

Hyundai UK has also appointed Graham Burton as their new fleet aftersales manager and his responsibilities will include managing their cost of ownership proposition.

Wilson added “For 2014 our goals are to drive down the cost of ownership, raise standards in terms of services and specialist personnel and improve overall customer loyalty.”

“Hyundai's fleet sales operation has undergone significant change over the last three years thanks to the launch of several new products. This is an exciting time in Hyundai's journey and I am looking forward to building on the brand's existing successes in the UK fleet market alongside such an experienced and professional fleet sales team.”
For the first quarter of 2014, Hyundai made a 15% growth in fleet sales selling over 11,800 vehicles. In March alone, there was a 30.4% increase, selling 7,589 vehicles. This was due to the March plate-change.
