The Race Retro 2014 motor show will this year celebrate its 10th anniversary. The spectacular event will be open to the public from Friday 21st February to Sunday 23rd February. Opening times are 9.30 am to 5.30pm with the exception of the Sunday closing time at 4.30 pm. Usually, there are approximately 440 exhibitors with events set inside and outside.

The Race Retro 2014 is all about reminding us of our motoring memories of the past. This three day high octane show is specifically based on classic motors. There will be plenty to do for everybody with jam packed appealing features.

The Race Retro 2014 celebrations include car and motorcycle competitions, motorsport legends and celebrities, prizes and live events on the main show grounds. You will also have the opportunity to meet many famous people who will be attending. Get ready also to meet the various car manufacturers, the fire engine bar, cafe, trading stands and much more.

Tickets are no longer sent through the post, they can be bought on their website which can be printed off at home. All Race Retro 2014 online bookings are subject to a small service charge. Please note, family tickets and group bookings are not issued.

Parents are responsible for their children and no crèche facilities will be on site.

Since this event is a live show only guide dogs are permitted onto the grounds.

  • Online ticket prices for children age 5 - 15 years is £5.00 (Friday and Saturday - free Sunday)
  • On the day adult ticket prices are £26.00
  • On the day ticket prices for children age 5 - 15 years is £7.00 (Friday and Saturday - free Sunday)

Directions to the Race Retro 2014 show

Held at: Stoneleigh Park, Stoneleigh, near Coventry.

Travelling by car:

  • Motorists from the south west should take the M5 to head north.
  • Motorists from the north west should take the M6 to head south.
  • Motorists from south east should take the M40 or the M1 .
  • Motorist from the north east should take the M1 to head south.

Stoneleigh Park is approximately one mile east of the A46, which is situated amid Junction 15 off the M40 and the A45 from Birmingham to Coventry, Rugby and the M1 at Junction 17. The A46 north joins with Junction 2 off the M6 past Coventry. Stoneleigh Park is situated on the B4113 and be found between the Leamington Spa and Coventry.

Furthermore, visitors heading to the Race Retro in their cars will be routed on the site via signs asking motorists to follow the B4115, this road is parallel to the A46 which runs between the A52 and the B4113 near the village. Once motorists are driving on these roads to Stoneleigh, there will be sign posts to the Race Retro event.

Parking is easily accessible and is free. Furthermore, a specific parking area has been designated for disabled people, which is also free. To access this area, you will need your blue badge permit. Mobility scooters are available for hire; cost is £7.50 for 2 hours or £20.00 for a full day.

Travelling by train:

If you are planning to take the train, the nearest train stations are Coventry, Warwick, and Leamington. Once you arrive, there will be taxi services.

Travelling by airplane:

If you are not a UK resident and wish to fly, the nearest airport is Birmingham International. There is a train station within Birmingham airport to link passengers to Coventry train station.
