Jeep have combined with Mopar once again to produce 6 concept vehicles for the 2014 Easter Safari. The Moab Easter Jeep Safari began on April 12 and runs until 20 April in Utah, USA.
This is the 48th year of the Easter Safari and the Utah route offers some incredible off-road driving experiences. The event will be attended by thousands of people.
Out of the six different Jeep concept vehicles, there are three based on the Jeep Wrangler and three based on the Jeep Cherokee. The vehicles are as mentioned below:
The Wrangler Level Red (pictured) gets its name from its ability to take on level red trials which are some of the toughest trials out there. It has a 3.6L V6 engine with a 60-speed manual gearbox.
The Wrangler MOJO is a slightly larger vehicle than the Level Red version and has the same 3.6L V6 engine but has larger 37” mud terrain tyres.
The Wrangler Maximum Performance (check out video below) is exactly what the name suggests. This vehicle is built specifically for those off-road enthusiasts and is the most capable off-roader of the three Wrangler based concept vehicles.
The Cherokee Adventurer may not be as capable off road as the Wrangler versions but still has very good off-road capabilities with the Trialhawk 4x4 system.
The Cherokee Dakar (pictured) is the most extreme looking of the Cherokee models and also the best performer off-road. It has several skid plates underneath and also has 33” mud terrain tyres.
The Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel Trail Warrior has some modifications over the standard Grand Cherokee which give it more ground clearance and all-terrain tyres.
