Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond have a name for their new show

After Jeremy Clarkson was removed as Top Gear’s presenter in early 2015 (amongst much controversy and a lot of opinions from almost everybody), his fellow presenters, Richard Hammond and James May, decided to leave with him.

While the BBC has continued with Top Gear, they’ve been working on new Amazon Prime show. And it finally has a name!

This autumn will see The Grand Tour arrive on Amazon Prime.

The name refers to the fact that for the first time ever, Clarkson, May and Hammond will shoot each episode - including the part with a studio audience - in a new place. The show will see exciting travels for the three presenters, a big tent to house the audience and, of course, cars. (Amazon will be giving their customers the chance to win audience tickets so keep an eye out!)

The three presenters have all taken to twitter to comment on the new name of the show.

So The Grand Tour debuts in the autumn. And the 23rd series of Top Gear is arriving on the 29th May complete with exciting new presenters including Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc (yes, he’s Joey from Friends. How could it not be great?). All in all, it looks to be a brilliant year of TV for car lovers. Buckle up…
