Mercedes-Benz enjoys growing demand in the UK when it announces its record UK market share in April.
It was predicted that growing number of drivers could be requiring Mercedes spare parts in future as the company increases its popularity in the UK.
The German carmaker has announced that it achieved a record market share in the UK this April, with 6,646 new cars registered according to figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.
This gave the company a market share of 4.7 per cent for the month - its biggest ever for April and up 19.5 per cent on the same month last year.
Marcus Breitschwerdt, president and chief executive of Mercedes-Benz UK, said the figures show that "compared with our competition, more people are choosing to own a new Mercedes-Benz than ever before".
He added that the success had not been down to any one particular model or range, but high quality across each different car sector.
However, there were some standout performers for Mercedes, including the new B-Class proving popular, as well as the C-Class, which saw sales increases across its Saloon, Estate, Coupe and AMG variants.
