The new 2013 Citroen C4 Picasso will be ready for the taking this summer. The model was first previewed by Citroen Technospace which then made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show this year. This newer model is based on the EMP2 platform by the PSA.

It is classed as an MPV, but the new sleek design makes it look more like a car.

However, there is no mistaking the fact that the Grand C4 Picasso is an MPV. The Grand has seven individual seats compared to the C4 Picasso which holds five seats.

The bold Citroen C4 Picasso

The 2013 Citroen C4 Picasso has been slightly revamped; it has a bolder and curvaceous look. Its sleek style oozes excellence, partially when it is viewed from the front and sides. When inspecting the car from the front, you will instantly notice the stunning LED lights that are positioned directly above the head lights.

The new Citroen C4 Picasso has reduced overhang at the front; the flooring is lower; the tracks are wider, and its weight is much lighter. The new car has a length of 443 cm; its height is 161 cm, and it is 140 kg lighter compared to its predecessors.

The manufacturers came up with idea to construct the Citroen C4 Picasso with aluminium and highly strengthened steel. Thanks to its lighter construction the emissions remain at an all-time low of 98 g/km.

The enormous panoramic windows remain fairly identical. You still get that same positive ambience when you are driving. Motors claim that it feels like you are flying when the large glass area is uncovered. The cabin is spacious and serves it purpose as a family car. The Citroen C4 Picasso also has a bigger boot; it holds 37 litres more than the previous models. Additional space can be created by folding the seats flat.

Full specifications have yet to be revealed this summer.
