Peugeot have just brought out a new facelifted version for the 2014 Boxer.

The Boxer is a badge engineered version of the same Fiat Ducato and Citroen Relay vehicles. We have a full review of the Peugeot Boxer which you can view here.

The new facelifted version has the new Peugeot style front end which makes it distinct from the Fiat and Citroen vehicles, which includes their new LED lights design. Another feature of the new version is a larger choice of varying equipment levels including: infotainment system, rear parking sensors and cruise control.

Peugeot have claimed that they have the widest choice of vehicle weights available: 3.0, 3.3, 3.5 or 4.0 tonne variants. There is also a choice of three wheelbase versions, four lengths, 3 height variations and eight different bodywork types. I'm sure you'll agree that's quite a wide range of choices available.

Other improvements to the facelifted version have been a more efficient braking system, increased stiffness, improved sliding door mechanism and a modified suspension system. The safety features on this new Boxer include ABS, EBA and ESP which includes such functions as traction control, hill start assist and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

There are 5 diesel engines available from 2.2L to 3.0L and the new 2.2L diesel engine is available with start/stop technology, making it the most fuel efficient engine in this segment according to Peugeot.

The new facelifted Boxer is a well built vehicle which offers the buyer a wide choice of variations with some excellent equipment choices and good diesel engines. It certainly is worth considering.
