Peter Vardy have opened a new Vauxhall dealership in the Scottish town of Dalgety Bay, in Fife.

Peter Vardy is a well established automobile dealership name and they employ more than 6,000 people across the UK. Initially established as Reg Vardy in 1923, by Peter's father, it has now grown into one of Europe's most successful auto dealerships, with an annual turnover of £1.6 billion.

This is what Peter Vardy, the Chief executive of Peter Vardy had to say about the new Vauxhall dealership: “Dalgety Bay is a prime location for our business and we are delighted to have acquired what we believe will continue to be a very successful authorised Vauxhall dealership in Fife.”

The new dealership is located on Harbour Way in the town and the show court will have between 60-70 Vauxhall cars on display. Peter Vardy takes over from what was previously Steve Curtis Cars and has redeveloped the site into the new Vauxhall showroom.

The dealership will be managed by Billy Fraser who was previously Sales Manager at the Perth Peter Vardy Vauxhall dealership. He will manage the current 11 staff, who kept their jobs from the previous Steve Curtis Cars dealership and they intend to bring in a further 6 people.

There are currently another 5 Peter Vardy Vauxhall dealerships across Scotland, in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Kircaldy, Motherwell and Perth. They also have 5 prestige dealerships for other manufacturers across the UK.

Peter Vardy supports and promotes a local charity who they give 10% of their profits to. The new Fife dealership have yet to confirm who this charity will be.
