Fiat 128 Overview

The Fiat 128 is classed as a small family which was produced by the Italian automobile manufacturing company Fiat. This vehicle was in production from 1969 to 1985 and was available in saloon, hatchback, estate and coupé versions. For a small family car this had a surprisingly large amount of space in the cabin and the boot due to the innovative design of a front mounted engine with front wheel drive, taken from the British built Mini. This car won the European Car of the year in 1970 and went to be a very popular selling car across Europe. The 128 was the first small family car to have this type of engine and independent suspension, setting the benchmark for future design. It might not have had the best driving position but was comfortable and they had good performing engines. Does this sound like your experience of this vehicle?
