The Nissan D21 is classed as a compact pickup truck which was produced by the Japanese automobile manufacturing company Nissan. This vehicle was in production from 1986 to 1997 and replaced the Datsun 720. Nissan was known as Datsun up until 1985 when it changed its name to Nissan, and this to the introduction of the D21. In the USA this pickup truck was known as the Nissan Hardbody and competed with the likes of the Toyota Hilux. The D21 is known to be a very reliable vehicle which performs well, both on and off road. They are well capable vehicles which have some good powerful engines for carrying heavy loads and performing well off road. The plastic parts of the interior are known for breaking and failing over time but they do have a comfortable and spacious cabin. Does this sound anything like your experience of the D21?
