Nissan Kubistar Overview

The Nissan Kubistar is classed as a small panel van which was produced by the Japanese automobile manufacturing company Nissan. The Kubistar was in production from 1997 to 2008 and is basically a re-badged Renault Kangoo. Renault and Nissan have an alliance which led to the joint production of many different vehicles, including the Kubistar/Kangoo. There are not to many difference between the two vehicles apart from some in house changes. The Kubistar was eventually replaced by the NV200 in 2009. These vans are very practical, have a good driving position and the diesel engine is really good. They are a good choice for anyone with a small business and would recommend the diesel engine over the petrol one any day. Does any of the above sound like your experience of this vehicle?

Nissan Kubistar History

The Nissan Kubistar was introduced in 1997 along with the first generation Renault Kangoo. Apart from the badge there ain't too much difference between the two vehicles. This was the result of a close affiliation between the two manufacturing companies. In 2003 there was a facelifted version released, which had a new front end and gave it its distinctive tear-drop style headlights. There is also a passenger version of the Kubistar available which can seat up to seven people. The Kubistar ceased production in 2009 when it was replaced by the Nissan NV200.
