History

The first generation (2005-12) was released in 2005 and is based on a modified version of the Land Rover Discovery III. This chassis allows for good off-road application and use of already common components, meaning less manufacturing cost. It had a facelift in 2009, with both interior and exterior revisions. The new front end design made it more aerodynamic. The second generation (2013-present) was released in 2013 and the new styling is more like the Range Rover Evoque. This is the current version on the market and is only available in 3.0L V6 diesel and 3.0 V6 or 5.0L V8 petrol engines.
