This car was in production from 1988-1995 and was a replacement for the VW Scirocco. This car is a front wheel drive 3 door sports coupe and is really well built with great handling. The engines are really good and the car has really good performance. They have good safety features, are comfortable but there is not very much space in the rear passenger area. Volkswagen Corrado History

The Volkswagen Corrado was built in on the Volkswagen A2 platform, the same as the Mark II Golf. This car was surprisingly first seen as the successor to the Porsche 944 and is a 3-door hatchback coupe. As the VR6 version has a large engine, it makes the front end of the car larger with a raised bonnet and wider wheel arches and new wings. The VR6 version was known as a great drive and was thought to be one of the best ever VW cars to drive. The Corrado was only available in 1988 with a 1.8L engine. In 1992 the 2.0, and VR6 2.8 and 2.9L engines were released and the VR6 was to become extremely popular. The Corrado was discontinued in 1995.
