The Volkswagen Transporter Shuttle is classed a minibus which is produced by the German automobile manufacturing company Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles which is a division of The Volkswagen Group. This vehicle is the minibus version of the VW Transporter light commercial van. The Shuttle was introduced on the T5 version in 2003 and is still in production today. These vehicles are pretty comfortable and spacious, and can seat up to 9 people. These vehicles are available in 7 to 9 seaters and they have some really good diesel engines. The Volkswagen Transporter Shuttle is part of the people carrier range of Transporter vehicles. The Shuttle was first produced in 2003 and is the second level of the 4 available people carriers. The Shuttle is one of the four: Kombi, Shuttle, Caravelle and Mulitvan, people carriers which is based on the Transporter commercial van. As the second trim level, above the Kombi, it offers such features as: folding rear bench seat as option and sliding rear window as standard. This is the current version on the market.
