Honda Ridgeline Overview

The Honda Ridgeline is classed as a Sports Utility Truck which is produced by the Japanese automobile manufacturing company Honda. This vehicle has been in production since 2005 and was the first Honda vehicle to enter into this class in the north American market. It is produced in Ontario, Canada and is mainly sold in North America. It is built on the same platform as the Honda Pilot, which is based on the Acura MDX. These vehicles are very practical and are more capable of towing and off road tasks than most pickup trucks on the market. They have good suspension and handling, and are reliable well refined vehicles. They are comfortable, have a spacious cabin and good storage in the rear. They do lack acceleration, fuel economy and overall performance. Does this sound anything like your experience of this vehicle?

Honda Ridgeline History

The Honda Ridgeline was introduced in 2005 and was the first time Honda had produced a pick up truck for the sports utility truck sector. It is classed in-between a mid sized and full sized truck and is the first pick up truck to have a trunk. The only problem with this is that if you have a lot of equipment stored in this lockable section, the spare wheel is under there. This vehicle has a double cab and also a dual action tailgate. This vehicle received a facelift in 2009 and this is the current version on the market.
