Hyundai ix20 Overview

The Hyundai ix20 is a mini MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) which is produced by the South Korean automobile manufacturing company Hyundai. The ix20 has been in production since 2010 and is built on the same platform as the i20. This vehicle was a direct replacement for the Hyundai Matrix and is exclusive to the European market. This is a very well designed vehicle which is very spacious, comfortable and has very low running costs. It is also well equipped, reliable and is an affordable little MPV. It comes with the fantastic 5 year Hyundai warranty and is well worth considering if you are after this type of vehicle. There is not a great deal wrong with this vehicle and the only thing we could mention against it is that it is not the best drive. Does any of the above sound like your experience of the ix20?

Hyundai ix20 History

The Hyundai ix20 was released in 2010 as a direct replacement to the Hyundai Matrix. It not only shares its platform with the Hyundai i20 but also with the Kia Venga and Kia Soul. The Kia Venga is Kia's version of the ix20 but the ix20 is a more refined and overall a much better vehicle than the Kia alternative. This vehicle has the Hyundai 'Fluidic Sculpture' design philosophy which is very aerodynamic and gives it a stylish look. This is the current version on the market at the moment and as mentioned above, it is exclusive to the European market.
