Peugeot E7 overview

The Peugeot E7 is a purpose built Hackney Cab produced by the French automobile manufacturing company Peugeot. This vehicle has been in production since 1990 and is based on the Peugeot Expert light commercial vehicle. As these vehicles are purpose built, they have the perfect combination of engine, clutch and gearbox which has been well trialled and tested. The outer body is well designed, with multi section bumpers and side rubbing strips to protect the vehicle in minor scrapes. Inside there is the comfortable rear passenger section with a high impact partition screen. The driving position is excellent and you get good mpg. There is also a sliding wheelchair access ramp for the disabled users. All things have been taken into consideration with amazing safety features. Does this sound anything like your experience of the E7?

Peugeot E7 History

The Peugeot E7 was first introduced in 1990 as a purpose built Hackney Cab based on the Peugeot Expert. The E7 replaced the E7 Classic and has a licence for EC Whole Vehicle Type Approval. These vehicles are a common sight across the cities and towns of the UK and have wheelchair access, allowing all passengers to use the taxi service. The E7 is purpose built for the function of a taxi, taking into consideration many factors including comfort, economy and accessibility.
