Renault 19 Overview

The Renault 19 is classed as a small family car and was produced by the French car manufacturing company Renault. This vehicle was in production from 1988 to 1996. This vehicle replaced the Renault 9 and 11 and was replaced by the Renault Megane. This car might have had a basic exterior design but it was praised for its comfort and interior design. It had a lot of room inside the vehicle and a good range of engines available. The engines were pretty good economically and the turbo engines were quite powerful. Does this sound anything like your experience of this car?

Renault 19 History

The Renault 19 was introduced in 1988 as both the Renault 9 and 11 were aging and Renault needed a more competitive car in the small family car class. Renault decided that this car would be the last vehicle to use the numbering naming policy. This vehicle featured the new E and F-type engines which were good at the time of their introduction. In 1992 there were turbo versions introduced which were quite good performance engines and there was also a convertible version introduced that year. That year saw a facelift to this car with a new front and rear end and new interior design. This vehicle ceased production in Europe in 1996 but continued to be produced in Argentina until 2000. It was replaced with the Renault Megane.
