Renault Clio Van Overview

The Renault Clio Van is classed as a small panel van which is produced by the French automobile manufacturing company Renault. The Clio Van is based on the popular supermini the Renault Clio, and has been available since the first generation facelift version in 1994 to the third generation in 2009. The main difference is that there are no rear side windows or back window, and no rear seats. Due to their small size, they are very economical and there is not as much space in the rear as some other larger vans on the market. If you have bought none of these then I'm sure that space was not your main focus, but are also pleasantly surprised with the amount of space there is. They are very handy for getting around town and are pretty comfortable. Does this sound like your experience of the Clio Van?

Renault Clio Van History

The first generation of the Clio Van (1994-98) was introduced in the facelifted version of the first generation Clio I. These vans have more comfortable, harder wearing seats than the car version. These vans became very popular with their good features and practicality.

The second generation (1998-2005) gave this van a more modern look while maintaining the practicality of the van. It was facelifted in 2001, affecting interior and exterior, and again in 2004 with some minor updates.

The third generation (2005-09) again changed the look of the Clio Van, but had a more severe exterior change. The last Clio Van was produced in 2009.
