Nissan 350Z Overview

The Nissan 350Z is classed as roadster sports car which was produced by the Japanese automobile manufacturer Nissan. This vehicle was in production from 2003 to 2009 and was available in 2-door coupe or 2-door roadster form. This was the fifth generation of the Nissan Z-car range. These are great performance cars which are very reliable and handle really well. They look fantastic and are value for money sports cars. They are not the most practical or comfortable cars and can be costly on fuel. They do hold their re-sale value, are well-equipped and have good safety features. Does this sound anything like your experience of this car?

Nissan 350Z History

In 2003 the coupe version of the Nissan 350Z was introduced and it wasn’t until the following year, 2004 that the roadster version was introduced. The roadster has a soft top retractable roof. These vehicles have front mounted engines which are rear wheel drive and this car was the eventual replacer of the Nissan 300ZX. In 2004 there was a special edition Type E which only 5 units were made in Japan. In 2005 there were Grand Turismo 4 and 35th anniversary editions which were again made in limited numbers. In 2006 these cars had a mid-life facelift with the main changes made to the interior and exterior. The 350Z ceased production in 2009 and was replaced with the 370Z.
