Peugeot 207 Overview

The Peugeot 207 is classed as a supermini car and is produced by the French manufacturers Peugeot which is part of the PSA Peugeot Citroen Group. This car was in production from 2006-2012 and replaced the 206 and was replaced by the 208 in 2012. The first number of the 207 denotes the series name and the last two numbers the generation of the car. These cars are stylish little superminis with a surprising amount of room in the boot but lack rear leg room. They are good fun to drive and have some great safety features. The diesel engines are great but the petrol engines leave a lot to be desired. Does this sound like your experience of this car?

Peugeot 207 History

The Peugeot 207 replaced the 206 in 2006 and shares the same design platform as the Citroen C3, but altered slightly to suit the requirements of this car. There are a number of different varieties of the 207: 3 and 5 door hatchback, coupe, convertible coupe and station wagon. This car was very popular in the UK, being the seventh best selling car of 2007, and (third best in the supermini class). In 2009 the 207 received a facelift which gave it a new front end and changes to the lights at the rear. Some alterations were also made to the software on the engines. The 207 was replaced with the 208 in 2012.
