Generations of the Ford Fiesta ST

The first generation of the Fiesta was born in 1976 and is still strong today. Additionally, the Ford Fiesta ST was initially revealed at the Geneva Motor Show during 2004. The Ford Fiesta ST is a sports model and in some countries, it is often known as a Ford Fiesta XR4. The model name ST and XR4 keep the model in its sports category.

A few years ago, Ford introduced an ST 500 model. Five hundred literally means only 500 were made; it was a limited production car. This model was fabulously refined; it included an excellent entertainment system, heated leather seats, red callipers, seventeen inch black alloys, carbon fibre interior trimmings and much more. This Ford Fiesta ST 500 was incredibly eye catching, and they can still be seen on the roads today.

The Ford Fiesta ST is in competition with the Honda Civic Type R. Basically; the Civic type R is aimed towards the mature adult. Both cars are excellent; however, the Ford Fiesta ST is more of a Go Kart drive experience; it is not as powerful, but is much cheaper overall. Other higher-performance rivals are the Renault Clio 200 and the Peugeot 208 GTi.
