Audi S5 Coupe Overview

The Audi S5 Coupé is classed as a compact executive car which is produced by the German automobile manufacturing company Audi. Audi is a part of the larger Volkswagen Group and the S5 range is based on the Audi A5, and is the high performance version of this car. The Coupé variant of the S5 was introduced in 2007 and is now in the facelifted version of the first generation model. The S5 Coupé is an average looking car which is capable of delivering top quality performance through the powerful engines. It is very well equipped, have some great safety features and are affordable car in this class. It grips to the road really well but the suspension is poor and there are some reliability concerns. Audi S5 Coupe History

The Audi S5 Coupé was released in 2007 along with the Cabriolet version. The S-range of Audi cars all come with the Audi Quattro 4x4 system and other high performance features which make it distinctive from the Audi A5 which it is based on. There were some minor upgrades made in 2010, mainly affecting some exterior design parts. The S5 Coupé had a 4.2 V8 engine which was changed to the 3.0L V6 engine when the car was facelifted in 2012. This meant that the car received a new front end design and also some interior alterations. This is the current version on the market.
