Have you ever owned a Kia Ceed? Did you have to replace any parts? If so, then we would love to hear about your experience and how easy it has been to replace the parts. You can write your review in the comments box at the bottom of the page.

Overview

The Kia Ceed is a small family car which is produced by the South Korean automobile manufacturing company Kia Motors. This car is available in 3 or 5 door hatchbacks and as a 5-door station wagon. It was released in 2006 as a replacement for the Kia Spectra and is now in its second generation of production. The current version was released in 2012 and is an extremely well built car which has great safety features and very reliable. It has excellent fuel economy and is also very practical with plenty of room inside the cabin and is also very comfortable. It is a very well equipped car, but the handling is not the best, neither is the driving position. Does this sound anything like your experience of the Ceed?

History

The first generation (2006-2012) of the Kia Ceed was released in 2006 and is manufactured at the Kia factory in Slovakia. It shares its design platform with the Hyundai i30 and there is a re-designed version of the Ceed called the Kia Forte which is marketed outside of Europe, where as the Ceed is mainly for the European market. In 2010 this vehicle had a minor facelift to the front grille design, receiving the now standard, tiger nose Kia grille.

The second generation (2012-present) was released in 2012 and Kia marketed this car as being better in most departments than its predecessor. These changes make this version much more expensive than the previous version, taking it outside the budget car market. These are the current versions in production.
