Nissan Note Overview

The Nissan Note is classed as a mini MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) which is produced by the Japanese automobile manufacturing company Nissan. The Note began production in 2004 and is currently being produced in its second generation. Although the Note was introduced in 2004, it was not released in Europe until 2006. This vehicle is very expensive to buy compared with some rivals and they don’t hold their resale value very well. They are very well built vehicles which have plenty space and are good to drive with good engines. Not all versions are well equipped but they are very well refined. Does this sound like your experience of this vehicle?

Nissan Note History

The first generation (2004-2011) was released in Europe in 2006, with the UK market being the first to receive this vehicle. This vehicle was a replacement for the Nissan Almera which ceased production in 2006. It is built on the Nissan B-platform and shares many components with the Renault Modus, which is one of its competitors. Although the Nissan Tiida was the direct replacement for the Almera, it wasn’t introduced in the UK until 2009.

The second generation (2012-present) was introduced in 2012 and is built on the Nissan V-Platform. There are not too many major differences between this version and its predecessor. This is the current version on the market.
