Kia Avella Overview
The Kia Avella is a subcompact/supermini car made by the South Korean car manufacturing company Kia motors. This car derived from the first generation Kia Pride and was to be the second generation of this vehicle. It was marketed under this name in Korea and other countries. It was also known as the Ford Festiva in America and elsewhere. This is a small, economical and reliable car. It is cheap to repair and fun to drive. There are some problems such as not starting first time after a while.
Kia Avella History
This car was available from 1993-2000 and was marketed mainly in South Korea. It was available in 3 and 5 door hatchback and 4 door sedan. In 2000 this vehicle was replaced with the Kia Rio. This was the first Korean car to have dual airbags and an ABS braking system as standard.
As hatchbacks are not as commonly sold as Sedans in South Korea, this car wasn’t to be as popular as expected. It was originally designed for export to other markets. This car ceased production late in 1999.

Fuel Economy
There is a 1.3 and 1.5
engine available for this vehicle. They are only available in petrol. As this is a subcompact/supermini it is expected to be good on fuel, and it is quite good economically. The 1.3 version is best economically. Take into consideration the age and engine size when determining the economical value.
