Clutch failure
Problem:
The clutch is known for having premature wear.
Solution:
Fitting a replacement clutch is the recommended solution. It is recommended that you use a 190mm diameter clutch (which is used on the Toyota Yaris) rather than the 180mm one which is standard. These clutches seem to be lasting longer. You should also check the flywheel to make sure that this will comply with the newly fitted clutch. The video below shows how to replace the clutch:

Water leaks in footwells and boot area
Problem:
The Aygo is prone to water leaks in either the front footwells or the boot floor area. This is due to a problem with the door/hatch seals. If you have noticed that the footwells are wet or the floor of the boot is wet, then this is caused by leaks in the door/hatch seals.
Solution:
Fitting replacement seals will resolve the issue.

Airbag warning light
Problem:
You may have noticed that the airbag warning light has appeared on the dashboard. This is usually caused by a fault with the firing unit on one of the front airbags.
Solution:
You will need to have a diagnostic check to correctly identify whether it is the passengers or drivers airbag firing unit that is faulty. Once you have identified which one it is, you will need to fit a replacement striking unit to fix the problem.
