What is the function of an anti roll bar?
An Anti roll bar helps to maintain better control of a vehicle it has two main functions. The first is the reduction of body lean. This is dependent on the total roll stiffness of the vehicle.
Second is to change the amount of g-force experienced by the vehicle. The roll bar limits the force expended from the front and rear axles. This will either increase or decrease roll stiffness and weight at the front of the vehicle while counterbalancing at the rear causing understeer or oversteer to occur.
