The car suddenly stalls while you're driving. This is often accompanied by battery warning lights and other dashboard warnings.
Solution:

Turbo Failure (1.9DCi)
Problem:
The turbo has suddenly failed.
Solution:
The oil pressure switch on the DCi is a known problem, and if it isn't sticking, then the other issue it can cause is a leak that damages your turbo seals. That results in sudden turbo failure. If you're lucky and you catch this problem quickly enough, then you may be able to get away with simply replacing the switch. In worst-case scenarios, you’ll need to browse our parts list for a new turbo assembly.

High Oil Pressure (1.0DCi)
Problem:
The oil pressure gauge is giving an extremely high reading.
Solution:
Very common on the Laguna 1.9DCi, this will be caused by a sticking oil pressure switch. Try applying lubricant to the switch, but if that doesn’t work, then it has become too worn. You’ll have to order a new switch from BreakerYard and install the working one.
