What are Hub Carriers?
The Hub Carrier is a device for adjusting the camber angle of the wheel of a vehicle. The hub is the part that your wheel attaches to as it rotates, and is held in the hub carrier with bearings. A second hand hub carrier should come with hub and bearings fitted.

A wheel hub drive includes a rotational hub, a stationary hub carrier, a hydrostatic axial piston motor using the swashplate which is attached to the hub drive and in a direct drive connection with the hub, and a brake connected directly between the hub carrier and the hub. If the hub and carrier has been damaged it is advisable to make sure the strut and suspension arm are also checked over for damage
Suspension System for Hub Carriers
A car wheel is supported by a double-wishbone type suspension system that includes a hub carrier. This supports both upper and lower link devices of the hub carrier to a vehicle body. there is a wind-up link element that is arranged diagonally with reference to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and rotatably connected to the hub carrier at a connecting point where the hub carrier is permitted to rotate in a direction of toe angle variation. This connecting point is used as a kingpin axis setting point as part of the suspension system of the hub carrier.
