Knocking noise from front of car
Problem:
Can you hear a knocking noise coming from the front of the car, when the steering is on full lock? If so, this is an indication that the CV joint bearings are worn.
Solution:
Replacing the CV joint bearings will solve the problem.

Water leaking in front footwells
Problem:
Have you noticed that the carpets in the front foot wells are damp/wet? If so, then the heater matrix is known for leaking.
Solution:
You will need to replace the heater matrix, in order to stop the leak. You may also want to dry out the carpets, so as to avoid any dampness setting in.

Water pump failure
Problem:
The water pump is prone to failing on the Mini. If you can hear a squealing noise, when starting the car, then you have a faulty water pump.
Solution:
You will need to fit a replacement water pump, in order to resolve the issue.

Thermostat failure
Problem:
If you have found that the engine is not heating up, or is getting too hot, then you have a problem with the thermostat. The thermostat is prone to getting stuck open.
Solution:
Replacing the thermostat will sort the issue. We can help you to find a replacement thermostat, at a very low price.

Handbrake failure
Problem:
Does the handbrake hold the weight of the vehicle, when you apply the handbrake? If not, the handbrake cable is known for seizing up.
Solution:
You will need to replace the handbrake cable, in order to resolve the issue.

Engine knocking noise
Problem:
Can you hear a knocking noise coming from the engine, particularly when you are either accelerating or decelerating? If so, the engine mounts are known for failing on the Mini.
Solution:
Fitting replacement engine mounts will fix the problem.
